Organised by the European Disability Forum and sponsored by Microsoft, the European Accessibility Summit aims to raise awareness of the importance of accessible technology in work, education, and leisure for persons with disabilities in Europe.

This year, one of the main themes of the Summit is the European Accessibility Act and its impact on products and services.  James Thurston will share his views and experinece during  the panel discussion that will cover the following topics:

  • European Accessibility Act (EAA) and its impact on products and services.
  • The role of national stakeholders in the implementation of the EAA
  • EU strategy for Disability Rights and shared priorities for employment and education.
