Educational Workshops in the Framework of HBCU Smart City Challenge. Session for Cities.
The Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Smart Cities Challenge is a 5-month challenge for HBCU students to build smart city applications for their community, leveraging ICT, IoT technology, and Web3 tools. The Challenge will hold virtual education workshops for students and Town Hall meetings for HBCU leadership and city stakeholders from across the U.S. on the role that smart city technology can play in advancing their communities.
G3ict partners with the Challenge organizers to add the focus on ICT accessibility and digital inclusion through education workshops. This will help students as well as participating cities, universities, and colleges to explore broader opportunities to serve their communities better.
